Sam and her husband Ian (& their Lakeland Terrier Madge) moved to France 5 years ago. In 2025 they adopted Layla who was 6 months old (much to Madge’s disdain as she has been an only child for 10 years).

Involved in Fundraising & Event Management for over 20 years Sam is happy to take a back seat these days and helps out at D&D with dog walking, cleaning and anything else that is needed.   She is the ‘Admin Ace’ for D&D and helps at events.#

In her spare time she practices Shiatsu massage, manages a couple of houses on behalf of English clients and walks her dogs.
